Recycling - is it the answer?

This seems like a pretty odd question from a proudly sustainable studio, right?

But the fact is that just 9% of all plastic EVER produced has been recycled. And by 2050 it’s estimated that the planet will have accumulated 12 billion tonnes of un-recycled, non-biodegradable plastic.

Shocking isn’t it?

That’s why we believe that the solution to plastic pollution lies with us as designers working with brands to create sustainable products and practices.

It should not be a problem for the consumer to solve.

Linear vs Recycling vs Circular economy

As a sustainable studio, we’re committed to making change happen from the top, writing sustainability into your brand’s DNA.

We help our clients to make responsible material choices - by researching the most suitable renewable, recyclable, and, preferably, compostable materials.
We look for ways to incorporate reusability into your packaging solutions, helping you to practice a Circular Economy.
And we source British-based suppliers to help keep your carbon mileage low.

As a brand owner, what difficulties do you face around packaging?
As a consumer, what do you wish brands to consider?
