Creating an online home for aspirational interior design
We initially worked with the Laura Butler Madden team to create the brand identity that moved them out of the blogosphere and into the interiors space.
Laura then returned to us with the aim of redesigning her website to create something that was a little more grownup and would pivot her from a home renovator to a high-end, design-focused property developer.
We began by improving the site architecture and content organisation making it significantly easier for the visitor to navigate through the website and explore the client’s projects, press and brand collaborations. The new design captured her elegantly modern style, showcasing her original & influential interiors with a view to attracting both high-end home renovations and luxury commercial projects as well as interiors-focused brand collaborations.
Inspired by the architectural shapes within Laura’s designs, these organic geometric forms contain her initials, creating an icon which is elegant yet modern.
We improved the site architecture and content organisation making it easier for the visitor to navigate through the website and explore the client’s projects, press features and brand collaborations.
The press page was transformed from a standard logo wall to instead champion each article’s hero image to help the visitor distinguish between press features.
The project pages were previously an image gallery. Now they are case studies giving insights into each design.
